A Taste of Honey


We’ve been getting creative in the kitchen with our Me Today Manuka Honey and had to share the goodness. These easy recipes are not only delicious but packed with wellness benefits too. Try them for yourself!

                                             


Healthy Oatmeal Cookies: Recipe video

Recipe:

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup oats
1 cup plain flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 banana mashed
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup honey
⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup chopped walnuts

Method:
Whisk together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Combine the banana, butter, egg, vanilla, and honey. Whisk until blended.
Pour the liquid mixture into the flour mixture and stir just until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips, raisins, and walnuts. Place in the refrigerator and let chill for at least 30 minutes.
Place in oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden around edges. Enjoy!

 

Protein yogurt bark: Recipe video

A healthy, easy, & high protein snack, with 15g protein per serve, collagen, honey & chia seeds.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
3 cups protein yogurt
1/2 cup honey
3 scoops collagen powder
3/4 cup granola
1/3 cup chia seeds

Method:
In a small bowl, mix together the yogurt, collagen, and honey.
Line a baking sheet with paper and pour the mixture over the top, spreading it out evenly.
Sprinkle granola and chia seeds over the mixture (add any other toppings you like).
Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight until completely solid.
Once set, break into smaller pieces & enjoy!

 

Overnight Weetbix: Recipe video

Need a quick and easy meal prep idea? This overnight Weet-Bix is so easy and delicious.
It’s high fibre + protein and naturally supports gut health - perfect for busy mornings when you need something nourishing.

Recipe:

2 weetbix
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp honey
1/2 cup protein yogurt

Additional toppings:
1/2 banana
Pinch of cinnamon
Sliced almonds
Drizzle of honey

Method:
Crush the weetbix into a bowl or container. Add the milk and honey, mix well to combine & flatten down to make an even layer. Add the first of your topping ingredients (banana) and cover with a layer of yoghurt. Finish with the remaining topping (cinnamon, almonds, honey), cover and leave to set in the fridge overnight. Enjoy straight out of the fridge the next morning!

 

Air Fryer Honey Apples: Recipe video

This is the perfect thing to make when you’re craving something sweet but still want to be healthy.

Recipe:

Ingredients:
Apples
Honey
Cinnamon

Optional:
Yoghurt to serve

Method:
Slice your apple, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon, and pop into the air fryer for 15 mins on high, drizzle some extra honey. Super easy and so delish!

 

Cookie Dough Protein Bark: Recipe video

Using Second Nature recipe + we added honey!

Recipe:

1 cup almond meal / almond flour
1/3 cup Second Nature Salted Caramel Cookie Protein Powder
1/2 cup yogurt of choice
1/3 cup chocolate chips
150g dark chocolate, melted

Method:
Add the almond meal, salted caramel cookie protein powder, yogurt and chocolate chips to a bowl and mix to combine. Tip into a lined tray and press down firmly until the dough is around 3-5cm thick (or however thick you like) Place in the freezer to set.
Melt the dark chocolate and pour over the cookie dough. Place back in the freezer for another hour.
Slice or break apart - store in the freezer
