Active Vitamins: What Serum is Right for Me Today?

At Me Today, we like to think of serums as targeted skincare solutions. When we have a specific skincare concern to address, we’ll reach for an active Me Today Vitamin Serum to deliver a potent burst of TLC. We’ve broken down the different actives in our Vitamin Serums so you can choose the perfect serum for your best me today. Unlocking your best tomorrow.®

Bounce B5 Serum, for dry & all skin types

Vitamin B5 also known as Panthenol works as a dual hydrator. As a humectant, it helps draw water into your skin from the environment and, at the same time, as an emollient it forms a barrier to lock in moisture.

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally present in your skin and connective tissues. It can hold up to 1,000 times its own weight in water so it’s an amazing humectant, the perfect ingredient for lackluster, dehydrated skin.

Purify B3 Serum, for uneven & blemish-prone skin types

Vitamin B3 or Niacinamide works to unclog and tighten pores, balancing oil production and helping to prevent blemishes. In doing so, Vitamin B3 helps restore a more even skin tone and texture. If you have oily or acne prone skin, this active vitamin is for you!

Glow C Serum, for dull & sun-loving skin types

Vitamin C is our fav glow-up go-to and we use it in its most stable form Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. A potent antioxidant, Vitamin C scavenges free radicals and can help mitigate sun damage and hyperpigmentation. This type of Vitamin C is easily absorbed by your skin, helping to brighten and nourish, while also keeping your skin hydrated by reducing water loss through your skin barrier. Perfect for sun-loving skin in need of a pick-me-up.

Renew A Serum, for mature & all skin types

Vitamin A, also known as retinol or retinoids, targets fine lines and wrinkles, stimulating skin cell renewal and collagen production which helps reduce the visible signs of ageing. A heavy hitting active vitamin, backed by science and ideal for mature skin types.

Bakuchiol is a plant-derived active, often touted as a ‘natural retinol alternative’. Typically well-tolerated, with fewer side effects than using a potent retinol treatment, bakuchiol works synergistically with Vitamin A, giving many of the same benefits; helping stimulate collagen production, targeting the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

We recommend patch testing. If irritation occurs rinse immediately and discontinue use. In the unlikely event of a negative reaction, see your healthcare professional. Me Today Ltd. Auckland, New Zealand.
